The Postgraduate and Research Department of History, Farook College, offers post-graduate and
research programs in History along with Complementary Programs at Undergraduate level. PG Program was re-designated in 1991 and the curriculum of the course carries
specialization in Islamic History enabling the students to enjoy the
benefits that go along with History and Islamic History course
structure. The course has latest form of Semester examination and
internal evaluations in addition to the submission of dissertation by
the candidate for the fulfillment of the requirements of the University
of Calicut. The Department got recognition as a research center under the University of Calicut in 2010. Department organizes various initiatives to strengthen the academic caliber of the students. Following are the major highlights of the Department activities.
